Due to hurricane damages the 2022 Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival will be held at the Burton Complex in Lake Charles, LA. We hope to see everyone there!
The 2022 Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival Dog Trial is fast approaching! Friday, January 7, 2022 at the property located on the corner of Hwy 27 and Hacketts Road. Entry will start at 9:00 a.m. Fee is $40.00 per dog entered. Trials begin at 10:00 a.m. 2 Stakes - Puppy and Senior. CONTACT: Kerry Clark Picou 337-794-8064. Thank you and hope to see you there!
The 5k/1 Mile run will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. The route at the Lake Charles Airport Area is posted on the link. 5K/1 MILE Registration

Contestants arrive and set up at 6:00 a.m.
Cooking begins at 6:30 a.m.
Samples ready to be submitted to judges at 10:30 a.m. and public invited to come to the tasting. Winners will be announced at 12:30 p.m. in the Burton Coliseum
The 2022 Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival Duck and Goose Calling Contest will be held Saturday, January 8 at 3:00 p.m. in the LSU AgCenter Building located next to the Burton Complex. Entry will start at 2:30 p.m. Fee is $25.00 per division. Age Divisions: Junior - Intermediate - Senior. Calling Divisions: Duck - Snow Goose - Speckle Belly - Best All Around Caller.
